Phil Thomas Katt is best known as the Host and Music Video producer for The Uncharted Zone/UZ-TV.

He began his career in music, recording a string of 45rpm vinyl records in the late '70′s and '80′s and moved into radio in an effort to enhance his music career. He went on to establish KattLine, a local answering machine phone line that gained a huge following in 1986 and he released his first album Nine Lives. The cassette sold very well along the Gulf Coast, breaking all local artist sales records.

PTK worked at a number of Radio Stations through the years including # 1 shows at Rock 104 and WXBM, In 1993 his overnight request show at WXBM became known as Radio Jukebox and was the highest rated overnight show in the history of Gulf Coast FM Radio. In 1996 Phil took UZ to local television, producing 1000′s of music videos for a number of artist through the years. He also wrote, recorded and produced many music videos for himself during this time as well.

In 2006 Gulf Coast Singer/Songwriter Mark Gormley contacted Phil about making some music videos for him..The Uncharted Zone started uploading videos to You Tube in 2007 and in January of 2009 UZ-TV went Viral on the internet. Artist from all over, wanted to be on UZ-TV, bands from Texas to Michigan visited the Green Screen Studio and had music videos produced, as well as a New York Record Company commissioning Phil Thomas Katt to work his “magic” on a video, Starring Saturday Night Live Alumni, Horatio Sanz.

The Uncharted Zone’s YouTube channel has had over 5.5 Million+ views to video uploads with viewers all around the globe. Phil Thomas Katt Productions also did a Product placement deal for Frito-Lay & Produced a Music Video Project for General Mills’ Fruit Gushers Snacks. PTK continues to make music videos for his music and other artist from all over. He also routinely licenses his work to television networks around the world.
