2nd Floor Room G

Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, Katrina Law is developing a resume that is guaranteed to start turning heads in the entertainment industry in 2014. With roles in notable television series including CSI: Miami (CBS) Legend of the Seeker (ABC) and Chuck (NBC), plus supporting and lead roles in independent films such as Knuckledraggers, Lucky Numbers, Emmet's Mark, The Learning Curve, and Bottom Feeders to name a few, Law’s name is becoming synonymous with an unshakeable talent and drive combined with a stunning, unique look that is unparalleled in the business to date. Law was recently seen starring as Mira [series regular] on the hit STARZ series Spartacus: Blood and Sand [2010] and Spartacus: Vengeance [2012]. In 2014, Law made her debut on The CW’s Arrow as the recurring DC comic book character Nyssa Al Ghul. In the comics, it’s revealed that Nyssa is the love child of Ra’s al Ghul, making her the half-sister of Talia al Ghul, whom Marion Cotillard portrayed in The Dark Knight Rises.

Growing up in small town America, Law was raised by a Catholic father of German and Italian decent serving in the US Armed Forces, and a Taiwanese Buddhist mother. The diversity presented to her at such a young age would teach her to keep an open mind and an open heart on all matters. Along with the diversity that surrounded her life, Law was enthralled with all things pertaining to the arts, and excelled in dance and theatre. She was a part of The Tournado Dance Company for 8 years, where she spent four to five hours a day studying ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and flamenco. Law attended The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, where she received a B.A. in Theater. At 19, she was cast as Cassie in The Chorus Line (Triple Threat Theater) and it was at that moment she knew she wanted to act. Law stayed in theater for several years honing her skills, and even received two Irene Ryan A.C.T.F. nominations for her work as Olivia in Twelfth Night (Stockton Theater Fest) and as the Bride in Blood Wedding (Stockton Theater Fest).

Law moved from theater to acting, and in 2001 landed her first television role on the NBC series Third Watch. The role opened doors for her in television and film, and she continued to book small roles on series and in films. Law notes that out of all the projects she has done, the most rewarding was The Resistance directed by Adrian Picardi. She shares, “It started off as an independent low budget web series where we all worked for free. It was underground, guerrilla filming at its best and it was a ton of fun. Eventually STARZ and Ghost House Productions decided to fund us and we shot the entire series over again. What a difference the second time around!” Her work on The Resistance would eventually lead to STARZ taking note of her for their new series in development, Spartacus.

Law currently supports a variety of charities, including being involved with the March of Dimes, Save the Bay, The Red Cross, Doctors without Borders, and Green Peace. In addition to acting, she also sings and plays bass guitar in a band called Soundboard Fiction.
