GAME DETAILS

8:00 am -1:00 pm  Pathfinder Adventure Card Game (Demos available)

There's adventure to be had on the high seas when a group of press-ganged pirates becomes embroiled in the plots and plunder of the Shackles—an infamous island chain dominated by pirate warlords. But as these new swashbucklers make names for themselves, rival scalawags, enemy navies, legendary sea monsters, and the infamous Hurricane King himself seek to see them walk the plank. Who will survive when there's loot on the line?

The Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild is your gateway to fun and adventure! If you enjoy playing the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, and want to play or volunteer in your area, the Adventure Card Guild has just started its inaugural season, Season of the Shackles. Full of pirates, plunder, and the occasional shark, this season is bound to be full of high-seas hijinks!

8:00 am - 1:00 pm  PFS – Silverhex Quest (Best for new players)

The River Kingdoms is a tumultuous land of bloodthirsty bandits, treasure-laden ruins, and self-proclaimed kings, and for years it has been the subject of study for Ulisha, a curious and capable half-orc explorer. Shortly after performing a heist that enraged the local nobility, she came across a collapsing stone circle and discovered Silverhex, an enchanted sickle used by druids millennia before. She did not have long to admire her find, though, for the nobles had posted a bounty to end her meddling for good.

Unable to deal with her pursuers on her own, she has contacted you. If you can raise enough money, she’s willing to sell Silverhex to you at a steep discount and then pay off her bounty.

The Silverhex Chronicles is a series of six Quests, short adventures that take you to a graveyard in Gralton, a mist-choked forest in Ustalav, a brainwashed village in Razmiran, an ancient crash site in Numeria, and finally to a city of assassins in Daggermark.

8:00 am - 1:00 pm  PFS – The Wounded Wisp #6-10 (Great for new players)

More than 400 years have transpired since the Pathfinder Society began in a humble tavern that has quietly weathered the centuries without incident. When a routine errand there uncovers a clue left behind by one of the founding Pathfinders, it’s up to the PCs to solve a puzzle whose pieces are scattered across Absalom—and whose prize dates back to the Society’s darkest years.

"The Wounded Wisp" is an evergreen, replayable scenario designed to help introduce players to the history of the Pathfinder Society and Absalom’s greatest sites.

8:00 am - 1:00 pm  PFS – Beacon Below #6-04 (Not recommended for new players)

Thousands of years ago, a defeated order of Osirian sages sought refuge in the perilous Pillars of the Sun in central Osirian. Until recently they were presumed lost, but recent exploration has uncovered the fortress sanctum they left behind. When the PCs delve into one of its sealed halls, they find the sages’ millennia-old projects dormant but not dead.

8:00 am - 1:00 pm  PFS – Ruins of the Bonekeep Pt 2: Maze of the Mind Slave  #5-S2 (Not recommended for new players)

A group of Pathfinders recently delved into the ruins of Bonekeep, a siege fortress destroyed centuries ago. There they discovered not only terrifying threats but also extraordinary treasures. Warded by the magic of a senior Pathfinder, the party must explore as much of Bonekeep as they can before the spell dissipates, lest they too are enslaved by the enchanted maze that looks hauntingly more familiar with each discovery.

8:00 am - 1:00 pm  PFS – Echoes of the Overwatched #3-07 (Good for new players)

When a Pathfinder agent working in the famed Blakros Museum in Absalom falls victim to a terrible, ancient evil, if falls to the PCs to hunt down the released terror before it can retrieve a relic of the mad astronomer Ralzeros the Overwatched.

9:00 am - 11:00 am  Pathfinder – Crypt of the Everflame

This is for gamers wanting to try role-play gaming, or those experienced gamers wanting to learn the Pathfinder rules.

Once every year the villagers in the northern reaches of Fangwood Forest chose some worthy villagers to take the two day trek to their village founder’s (Ekat Kassen) tomb, and get their bullseye lantern lit by Kassen’s everflame torch.  The torch symbolizes the resilience and determination of Kassen and the villagers.  The flame is brought back to mark the end of the final harvest and stays lit during the long winter.

All supplies including 3-4 level characters, dice, paper, and pencils will be provided at the session.

9:00 am - 12:00 pm  World of Darkness (New Rule System) – D10 Dive Poll Roller

In a spooky world of mystery and terror, somewhere between the nightmares and the Fairy Tales, is World of Darkness.  A game where the supernatural runs rampant, as the daily grind hides some of it.  You are a regular person, awakened with a spirit of adventure, and with the knowledge of what goes bump in the night.  You become a Hunter, bent on making the world a better place.  Come on and stir up a crazy, extra-worldly adventure.

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm  Traveller (Mongoose 4th Edition) – Far Future Dice Roller

INTRO GAMING SESSION

This adventuring session takes place far away from the Third Imperium.  You are the crew of a small ship named the Robyn.  This is an adventure sized just right for a crew of four.  There are one of 6 creative directions this adventure can take.  This is a short introductory game with pre-generated characters.

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm  Pathfinder – Rude Awakening

The players awaken from a routine mission to find themselves in the wreckage of their floating castle that appears buried in the side of a mountain on an alien world.  A brief but thorough investigation reveals that the crash was probably tens of millions of cycles ago.  It appears that your dream sleep has been the longest recorded as of the last update of these archives at 33.329 million cycles.

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm  Pathfinder - Wanted: Scallywags, Scoundrels & Scurvy Dogs Pt 1

Level: Expert

Number of Players: 6

Category: Non-campaign RPG

You had been chasing the Marinus Porcus for a fortnight. Reported to be carrying a cargo of gold and silver beyond imagining, she was the most sought after ship on the high seas. Also the most heavily armed. She had almost slipped through the net you and your fellow pirate captains cast when you sighted her. Not willing to let her go, you closed alone.

…The first catapult shot tore through your fortified stern castle like it was paper. The second was a set of balls and chain that scythed through scrabbling deckhands and main mast alike. In an eye blink your ship turned into a floating abattoir. Nevertheless, you closed to grappling distance and threw out your lines. Surprisingly, the grapples held and you managed to pull alongside. “At them you dogs!”, screamed the First Mate before an arrow took him in the throat. You and your murderous band of cutthroats swarm over the railing….

Can you take the Marinus Porcus in the face of such opposition? More importantly, can you keep her if you do?

Wanted: Scallywags, Scoundrels & Scurvy Dogs takes place in the warm waters of the Salton Archipelago. Set amongst tropical isles, this adventure is equal parts melee & (bad) roleplaying. Players are encouraged to create their own characters they think will best defeat the module. (See Character Generation Rules below) Pre-Gens available to those short on time. Award for best player.
