Crystal “Bamboota” Fontan is a Graphic Designer/Illustrator with over 10 years of professional experience.

She loves pop culture, movies, TV, video games, brownies and pugs! After recieving a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts and Animation at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, she went on to work for various Apparel Companies, including VF Corp; which is the biggest apparel company in the world. She later decided to pursue her dream in becoming a full time freelancer focusing on designing T-Shirt graphics, logo branding, character design, book illustrations, and web comics.

Some of her clients include Sony Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Cartoon Network, Marvel, NFL, NBA, MLB, Harley Davison and more. She current has over 18k Facebook fans (and growing) and is one of the top grossing artist featured on some of the top Shirt-A-Day sites, such as Teefury.com, RiptApparel.com and TheYetee.com. She is also a winner of the Official Muppets T-shirt design Contest held by Disney and Threadless.com.

Her work has also been featured on popular websites such as Buzzfeed.com, i09.com, slashfilms.com and Hypable, as well on several Television shows such as Attack of the Show. She has also participated in several art shows in galleries all over the world. Most recently, she had part in the Official 20th Anniversary Hellboy Exhibition held in the Heroes Complex Gallery in Los Angeles, California.
